CRUELTY FREE & VEGAN NAIL POLISHES
The vegan and cruelty free nail varnish industry has come a LONG WAY over the past few years. Most nail varnish contains animals products either to add colour, shimmer or treat and strengthen the nails. The shimmer we see in nail varnish is likely to be ‘guanine’ which comes from fish scales, Shellac which is derived from the secretion of lac bugs in india and many nail treatments include ‘keratin’ which mostly derived from animal horns and hooves.
That being said- as previously mentioned- the industry has come a long way and there is more brands rustling up some amazing colours and formulations…and VOILIA.. here are my favourites for you!
