Authored is a new eco concious beauty brand founded by Tanya Burr.

They have a small collection of products that they have launched with. I really love when brands start small and launch products slowly. It makes me feel like they really put so much thought into each product and also thinking about the sustainability of each piece of make-up.

Authored take things back to basics, focusing on high quality, ethical and sustainable products.

Firstly- I tried their tinted moisturiser.

It costs £28 for 50ml and comes in 12 shades…

I love a foundation infused with Vit E as it’s working hard to soften skin while we wear it, feeling like skincare and make-up in one.

It glides beautifully onto skin and I feel like its easily buildable.

POSITIVES

♡ First of all….it’s CARBON NEUTRAL, comes in an aluminium tube which is 100% recyclable packaging (even the lid) with sustainable production and ethically sourced ingredients.

♡ The product glides on like a dream with a really nice healthy finish (not too glowy and not too matte) ✨

♡ I found that it built up so nice, you can use a little or build up for more coverage…. lasted really well through the day.

NEGATIVES

♡ The only negative I found (which I have found with most aluminium tubes for packaging) as it can be a little messy so giving the tube a little more care, not squishing it into a full makeup bag and opening it carefully gets around that!
